Our CU Wednesday Group this month will take place on Wednesday 21st January. This month our guest speaker is Heather Niven. Heather was the manager of Newcastle Vision Support for many years, when it was formally known as Newcastle Society for Blind People. Heather also played a vital role in fundraising for the charity and ran our popular Mac group. Heather will be speaking about her time at Newcastle Vision Support, the Sensory Garden and Bobby Robson.
The meeting will take place in the activity room located within our office at Northumberland House. As always we will provide some light refreshments. Please let us know if you are able to attend by calling 0191 232 7292..

The Cycle Hub (NE6 1BU) - Byker Farm (NE1 2PA)
Our Walking Group meets fortnightly on a Thursday morning. The next walk will be on Thursday 12th February at 10.30am.
The group will be setting off from The Cycle Hub, walking along the Ouseburn and ending at Byker Farm. There will be the opportunity for refreshments at the end of the walk.
This walk is suitable for all abilities and there are plenty of opportunities for rest breaks.

Our CU Wednesday Group takes place on Wednesday 18th February at 1.30pm in the activity room within our office.
Our guest speaker will be Liz Finch from the National Trust. She will be giving a talk all about Seaton Delaval Hall. Liz will be talking about the dramatic history of the building, and the incredible work being done to preserve it for future generations. Don't miss this wonderful chance to learn more about one of our region’s most iconic places.

Our Walking Group meets fortnightly on a Thursday morning. On Thursday 26th February the group will be going on a guided tour of Newcastle Cathedral.
The guided tour will last from 10.30am until 11.30am and will be followed by refreshments in their café. The tour is free however, the Cathedral do appreciate any donations. Spaces for this event are extremely limited.
