About the event
Speaker: Healthwatch Newcastle - Jay Conlon, Engagement & Involvement Officer.
Healthwatch Newcastle is an independent not-for-profit organisation. They help all parts of the community have a say about social care and health services in Newcastle upon Tyne, including people who sometimes struggle to be heard. They work to make sure that the people who plan and run social care and health services listen to service users and use this information to improve services.
Healthwatch hope to meet the Mac Group to gather some views on how you feel that their services work for you, if there are any barriers you face in terms of treatments, and if there are any issues that Healthwatch can work with you on a survey for.
The meeting will take place in the Auditorium on the ground floor of MEA House from 1.30pm until 3pm. Refreshments are available. Subsidised taxis are also available for £6.00 per journey.
