About the event

Our Walking Group meets fortnightly on a Thursday morning from 10.30am. Walk locations vary each week so please check the website or call the office to find out the details of each walk.

The next outing for the walking group will be Thursday 8th February. This week the walk will be around Leazes Park. They will me meeting at the entrance on Richardson Road opposite the RVI.

If you would like to attend please call the office on 0191 232 7292 or email info@newcastlevisionsupport.org.uk. It is essential that we know numbers for this event. Subsidised taxis are available for £6.00 per journey, if required.

Our walks usually last around 2 hours and are suitable for all abilities. The walks are gentle and often end with a well deserved cuppa in a café. We kindly ask that you dress appropriately for the weather.

The next outing for our walking group will be Thursday 21st March. This walk will be at Newburn Country Park. The group will meet outside at the Keelman Pub at 10.30am. They will then commence the walk around the country park before ending at the Keelan pub.
