We will be meeting at Quayside Wetherspoons ( NE1 3RN ) and heading to Liosi's Italian Cafe ( NE4 7YL ),

On Thursday 16th February our walking group will be participating in a guided tour of the Lit and Phil Library.

The group will be meeting at the Keelman Pub in Newburn, NE15 8NL. From here the group will be going on a walk around Newburn Country Park before returning to the Keelman.

About the event

This week our walking group are going on a visit to the Mining Institute where they will receive a guided tour.

The group will meet on Thursday 16th March at 10.30am at The North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers which is located at Neville Hall, Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1SE.

About the event

The next outing for our Walking Group is Thursday 13th March.

The group will meet at KFC Byker, NE6 and will head towards St Peters Basin, NE6 1LL at 10.30am and head towards St. Peter's Basin before ending with a cuppa at the Merchants Tavern.

Please note that the walks are weather dependant. If we do need to cancel them at the last minute we will contact you. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing if you would like to attend.

They will be meeting at Wetherspoons on The Quayside (NE1 3RN) at 10.30am and walking along to the Cycle Hub ( NE6 1BU).

We do recommend that you wear suitable footwear and clothing. As always the walks are weather dependent. However, if we do need to cancel a walk due to the weather we will contact everyone in good time.

Subsidised taxis are available for £6.00 per journey.
