We will have various different pieces of technology available for you to look at and try, including tablets, smartphones and voice-activated personal digital assistants such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home.
We will also have the new Orbit Reader Braille display and the new version of the popular Guide software “Guide Connect” available for demonstration.
We are running this event in collaboration with RNIB, and staff from Newcastle Vision Support and RNIB will be on hand to provide you with help and advice.
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day for the usual charge of £1.00 per cup. Unfortunately we are unable to provide taxis to or from the event, so if you wish to attend then you will need to make your own transport arrangements.
