About the event

Our Walking Group meets fortnightly on a Thursday morning. The group meet at a designated meeting point for around 10.15am with the aim to set off from 10.30am. Walk locations vary each week so please check the website or call the office to find out the details of each walk.

The next outing for the walking group will be Thursday 23rd January. We will be going to Leazes Park. We will be meeting at the Richardson Road entrance to the park. We will then have a walk around the park and end with a cuppa in a nearby café.

Please note that the walks are weather dependant. If we do need to cancel at the last minute we will contact you. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing if you would like to attend.

The group will meet at KFC Byker (NE6 1LL) and walk to The Merchants Tavern at St Peter's Basin (NE6 1TW).

The walks are gentle and are suitable for all abilities and they always end with a well deserved cuppa in a café.

If you are attending please ensure that you wear suitable clothing and footwear. Sometimes the walks may have to be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions. If this does happen we will contact all attendees.
